Quick answer

What is agro commodities ERP software?

Agro commodities ERP software is business software built around how grain, pulse and oilseed businesses buy, process and sell. Formezy records each purchase with weighbridge weights, moisture and other quality results, cleaning and grading output, milling or crushing yield, warehouse stock by lot and stack, and the documents for domestic and export dispatch, so every lot's quantity, quality and cost stay current.

Weight and quality disputes at the gate

Weighbridge readings go straight into the purchase entry, and moisture, foreign matter and other tests are recorded against the lot, with deductions calculated by your rules.

Stock spread across godowns

Every lot is stored by warehouse, stack and grade, with bags and weight, so stock and its quality are visible by location.

Export paperwork rebuilt by hand

Packing lists, invoices and certificates of analysis come from the same lot records, and the documents for each shipment are kept together.

Segments

Built for every agro commodity segment

3 segments, each with its own shop-floor process flow.

Grains & pulses processing

Wheat, rice, maize and pulses such as tur, chana and moong cleaned, dehusked, split, polished and packed. Track purchase lots, quality deductions, milling yields by product and by-products.

Questions

Agro Commodities ERP: common questions

Still have a question?

Talk to a food ERP specialist about your own plant and process route.

Which agro commodity segments does Formezy support?

Formezy supports grains & pulses processing, oilseeds & edible oil and sorting, grading & export packing, each with its own process flow. Plants that combine segments run them in one system.

Can Formezy take weights directly from the weighbridge?

Yes. With the Weight Integration module, gross and tare readings come from the weighbridge into the purchase or dispatch entry, so the net weight is calculated without retyping.

Can it calculate quality deductions on purchases?

Yes. Moisture, foreign matter and other results are recorded against the lot, and deductions are calculated with the rules you set for each commodity, supplier or contract.

Does it track stock by warehouse and stack?

Yes. Each lot is stored with its warehouse, stack, grade, bag count and weight, and transfers between godowns are recorded, so you can see what is where and in what condition.

Can it prepare export documents?

Yes. Commercial invoices, packing lists and certificates of analysis are prepared from the lot and shipment records, in the buyer's currency, and kept together with the container and seal numbers for each shipment.

Does it calculate milling or crushing yield?

Yes. Input and every output, including by-products such as husk, brokens and oil cake, are booked per batch, so yield is calculated by product, machine and shift.

Can a trading business without a plant use it?

Yes. Purchase, quality, warehouse, sales and export features work without the processing steps, so trading businesses use only the parts they need.
